5 reasons why professional family photos ARE a MUST after lockdown!
This year has been an unusual time to say the least! it’s created a different dynamic for families. We've not been able to see some family members and we have spent a bit more time, than we are used to with others and I imagine it’s not all been easy (well it hasn’t in our home)
You may be thinking a professional family shoot is the last thing I'd want to do but here’s why I think it's a MUST...
Mark the moment
I am a new dad and I’m realizing that it’s so true what people say - ‘time flies’.I’ve learnt how important it is to make every moment count and to document the journey, so I will never forget the different stages of our family life. We had a photoshoot when our son was just born and looking back, as we approach his 1st Birthday, it’s amazing how easy it is to forget how small he was in comparison to the little tornado he is now. Having professional photos will capture your preset stage of family life perfectly, helping you never forget these special times.
2. Time together as a family and celebrate all those missed moments
As I said, the global pandemic and being in lockdown, has meant that we have not seen some of our family and loved ones for way too long. Family time has been few and far between. There will have been so many occasions that have been missed, birthdays, anniversaries, new babies, weddings and so much more, so having everyone together in the same place at the same time is super special.
A family shoot is a great reason to get everyone back together again, catch up and enjoy some time together.
3. You’ve had a hair cut
Probably the most significant point and the most highly anticipated. The hair cut! Your fringe is none existent ,the roots are out of control and you have been doing those lockdown locks for far too long - finally THE HAIRDRESSERS IS OPEN. OF course you want to show off the new cut
4. Put those new walks and favourite spots to good use
I know for many, walking has become our new favourite thing - mainly because we couldn't do much else - I even bought a pair of walking boots recently… who am I?!?!
We have found so many beautiful walks around our home which we never knew were there.
You can have your shoot, walking in your favorite spots, will help get some really relaxed natural shots in your favorite spots.
5. Update those photos on your wall
My mum has had family photos on her wall for well over 10 years, things have changed since then, we have changed, partners and kids have joined the family and it has grown, however the wall didn't reflect that, there would always be the jokes with our partners, that they hadn't made the wall.
